Chemtec was born in 1980 shortly after Kärcher UK's inception.
As a company they have been renowned for several ‘Kärcher Firsts’ the most recent being appointed one of the first Kärcher Centers in the UK.
Their growth under current MD Malcolm Setton has been staggering, with attention to detail, fixed price servicing, service contracts and any form of payment from lease to long term hire the company has a fully flexible route for any Financial Director.
In 2006 they installed the first of 7 10,000 Litres/hour recycling units for hand car washes in th UK. This has led to Nationwide installations of their new 1,000 L/hr unit for under £4,000!
In December 2006 in their largest gamble a brand new Ice Blaster was loaned to Forest Environmental who held a contract at Bradwell Power Station. This new and innovative machine has turned the blasting market upside down and an order for 6 units, an environmental award and bonuses for completing way ahead of schedule followed, not to mention a saving running into hundreds of thousands of pounds in toxic waste disposal costs!
