David Mott, Director of both ACS Designs and the Mott Butcher partnership, based in Horsham, West Sussex, has taken the fast track in backing World Champion Legends Driver, John Mickel - also based in Horsham.

Having met John through one of his existing and long term main sponsors, RS Capps Director Mike Shadwell, another local firm based on Dorking, I became Involved in small way in his last season’s racing in the Pickup Truck Series,” Mott said.
“With an Invite to travel with him to South Africa in January to take part in the ASA Freestate 500 as part of the team, I witnessed first-hand the drive, determination and professionalism in what was an exciting transcontinental race where John took on the rest of the world and won. This attitude reflects our own Philosophy at ACS/MBP and with John’s entry into the exciting class of the CPC Legend Series, and the prospect of TV coverage, this provides us with a platform to expand our own exposure and corporate image, and gives an opportunity to entertain and pass our thanks to many of our own clients by bringing them along to the exciting legends series as part of Mickel Motorsports Hospitality. The opening round of the CPC Legends Championship began this weekend at Oulton Park and John is now placed ninth in the Championship following some teething problems.
John is also pursuing a place in the American NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2011.
